LLMs (Readers)

A Licensed Lay Minister (LLM) in the Church of England may also be known as a Reader. These are trained, licensed, and voluntary lay people who support the clergy by preaching, teaching, leading worship, and engaging in pastoral and missional work. They bring their professional and personal experience to their ministry, working alongside ordained ministers to serve the church. 

Church Wardens

Churchwardens in the Church of England are senior lay officers of the Bishop, responsible for the governance, care, and worship of a parish. They cooperate with the incumbent, represent the laity, oversee the church building and its contents, and manage the day-to-day functioning of the parish. This is a volunteer role with ancient origins.

PCC

A Parochial Church Council (PCC) is the governing and administrative body for a Church of England parish, composed of clergy and lay members who work together to manage the parish's spiritual, practical, and financial affairs.

Standing Committee

A Standing Committee in the Church of England is a body that handles the business of a parish's Parochial Church Council (PCC) between its meetings.
