to St. Mary’s Church

We could not fulfil our vision, without the generosity of so many people who provide their time, talents and financial support to the life and ministry of St.Mary’s Church.

Regular giving helps us to plan our mission and ministry and special appeals help us to support those in time of need.  

 Here is a summary about how you can give to St.Mary’s Church: 

Regular Giving

Regular giving is our recommended method of giving as it helps us to plan and sustain our ministry.  If you would like to give regularly, please can you consider doing this through the secure Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) - a simple system of setting up a regular donation using direct debit. You can also Gift Aid your donation - Gift Aid makes every £1 worth £1.25 to St.Mary’s Church funds.

  • We have put together a leaflet that provides information about the PGS scheme and how you can use it to give to St.Mary’s. This leaflet can be found here.

  • If you wish to use a hard copy format we have a PGS gift form which can be printed off and completed and returned to PGS or via our Church Treasurer Andrew Pemberton (contact details below). (Please note that on page 3 of this form the PGS Parish Code is ‘WOOD’).

One off donations

One off donations to our church funds can be made as follows:

ONLINE

  • using the ‘One-off Gift’ option on the St.Mary’s Woodchester page of the secure Parish Giving Scheme (PGS) web site here. You can use a credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay to make your donation. You can also choose to Gift Aid your donation - Gift Aid makes every £1 worth £1.25 to St.Mary’s Church funds

  • using this link to the secure ‘Give a Little’ donation page here. You can choose a £5, £10, £20 donation using the boxes or your own amount. You can also choose to Gift Aid your donation (after the card payment page) - Gift Aid makes every £1 worth £1.25 to St.Mary’s Church funds.

IN PERSON (in the church)

  • on our offering plate at a Sunday service (on the table at the back of the church - we don’t pass the offering plate around during the service).

  • using our secure debit/credit card reader on the table at the back of the Church.

  • using the wall-box just inside the main door of the church.
